Not all audition opportunities are created equal, but the London Children's Ballet is definitely one of the worthwhile ones. We've had JMDS students perform with LCB in the past. They have loved the experience and learned loads. Give it a go!

In 2018, LCB is excited to be returning to The Peacock theatre with a revival of its original two-act ballet of Oscar Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost.
The Company is looking for 60 young dancers of all shapes and sizes (girls aged 9 –14, boys 9 –16) for this beautiful, light-hearted, two-act ballet. There are many wonderful roles for dancers of all ages, and children receive over 100 hours of free expert ballet tuition and performance experience as part of a professional production with a live orchestra. A further 48 children are chosen to dance in LCB’s local touring companies.
It is FREE for all who take part – so truly everyone is welcome.
AUDITION DATES
Groups based on age at 1 January 2018
- Sunday 29 October: Girls age 9, 11 & 13
- Sunday 5 November: Girls age 10, 12 & 14, & all Boys
- Sunday 19 November: Finals, all ages
- Sunday 3 December: Casting
REHEARSALS
Sunday afternoons, 7 January to 15 April 2018
Intensive rehearsal weeks: 12 –17 February (half term) 3 – 8 April (Easter holiday)
